The International Cricket Council (ICC) today announced the winners of the ICC Player of the Month Awards for April which recognise and celebrate the best performances from both male and female cricketers across all forms of international cricket throughout the year.
Pakistan’s Babar Azam has been voted the ICC’s Men’s Player of the Month for April beating Fakar Zaman and Nepal’s young debutant Kushal Bhurtel for the trophy. He scored 228 runs in ODIs at an average of 76.00 while in T20Is – 305 runs at 43.57.
Australia’s Alyssa Healy has been crowned the ICC’s Women’s Player of the Month for April. She scored 155 runs in ODIs at an average of 51.66 with a strike rate of 98.72.
